Photography

Photography is a creative and practical subject which combines technical aspects of image making with the exploitation of ideas through a range of media, materials and processes.

Ashcombe students can start their photography journey at GCSE through to A Level and will be given a series of themes to respond to in their own way. Learners will grow in confidence in handling the school digital cameras, Adobe Suite including photoshop, studio lighting and other workshops.

We build on students’ confidence and independence and encourage students to develop their imagination and creative abilities to produce highly skilled individual work.
