Support and welfare

Subject Support

If you need support with a subject you should let your teacher know. They are best placed to sort out any problems you may be having. If you are having problems in a number of subjects please see your Head of Year. If your problem continues please see Mr Blackband.

Seeing the school nurse

You can make an appointment by going to the Bradley office and filling in an appointment form. Your meeting with the school nurse will be confidential.

Counselling

Students sometimes find that problems at home or at College can affect their work or physical or mental well-being.

Although your tutors are always happy to discuss problems, students can sometimes find it easier to talk things through with a trained Counsellor who is not directly involved in the student’s situation.

The counselling service offers a confidential service to all students. Students can talk through their situations, explore their choices and find possible steps forward.
